Tough Supply Challenge

I created this layout using a cute sassy witch stamp that is from the CTMH set called "wicked" I loved the stamp when I ordered it but hadn't used it yet so this was my chance.

I also had these  adorable little clothes hangers and they seem fitting with the witches little dress.

I love a challenge

It was an online challenge back in Uhum, too many years ago, that got me scrapping to the point of feeling like I was getting somewhere. I love to scrap, to glue and stick. I realize many have gone the way of the digital book and I've made a few for gifts sake but I love the texture and feel of a memory book that my own hands have put together. I love to see the face of a recipient that knows you put it together with your own hands and I especially love the look on my growing kids faces, as they recall all the great times our family have shared. Well I was excited to run across this blog site that had a scrap challenge for the mere memory keeper like me. Being in Utah makes us think we have to be Teresa Collins or Becky Higgins to be worthy of a page submit but I just like the motivation of someone else's challenge so I am re opening my scrap blog here for the sake of links and simple inspiration shares. So here it is for Paperloversstudio.blogspot.com My first entry. Sketch Challenge #1 Dream. I made a goal when I was 18 that I would be in shape enough to wear a bikini and run on the beach when I turned 40. I also made a deal with my hubby that since we had not had a honeymoon that he owed me one and it would be in Hawaii. LOL. We didn't know it would take 16 years to make that happen but it worked out perfectly with my run on the beach deal. I used Plantin Schoolbook for cricut for the title. I used a CTMH (close to my heart)paper which I seem to have accumulated a ton of, that was a contrast to the beautiful blue of the Ocean. I had bought this sparkly ribbon and beads from paper studio via Hobby Lobby and was dyeing to use them on a beach layout. I used my photo scraps to cut some flags. I like to keep the cost down and not get too busy on the page. I really try to journal on every layout and although I don't love my hand writing, I think it is more personal for the future viewer. I hope you like my take on the Sketch. I look forward to the next challenge.
