Trading Pages.

My scrap buddies play this game where we trade photos with each other and scrap each others pages.
It's fun to see what you get back.

I love how Trudie used metal washers and leather letters. She knows how to do big boy pages.

My 2 oldest are almost ready to fly the coop and these memories mean so much to me.
Roni captured Jordan in this layout with a title of "That Boy!" and phrases like "here to live out loud"
Thanks ladies.

My latest swap

I'm in a group that swaps layout kits.
We design a 2 page layout, it must be generic and include up to date good quality embellishments. We take a picture and then make kits with all the parts to make the page.

The fun part is getting together to swap. You end up with all different kits and spend the evening putting them together.

Curt's Graduation announcements.

I made a fold out and used Velcro to seal it.
I included some action shots including what would've been his freshman year.
It seems a bit more personal and lets face it, people already knew he was graduating so it's fun to reflect on the 4 years.

Simply Summer.

This warm weathers got me thinking a dip in the lake would be nice

I liked this simple layout. I got all 4 pages out of 3 sheets of colored paper.
I used excess water photos to cut the title from.
This is how I get allot of big pics in without crowding.
I used brads rub ons and ribbon.

Doing Disney, Different

Disney pictures are so fun to take but when you get home you realize you have albums full and surely you don't want to scrap them all in primary colors with fairy stickers so here is my latest Disney pages.
Click on the image to enlarge.

I used a swap by Patty for this one.

This is an original

This was a swap from Ronie

This was a page kit from My Scrapbook Zone.

Cool Quotes.

This paper actually inspired me to take pictures of my "BIG" boys. It is sometimes hard to capture them, they joke, they prank, they make my life...challenging.
But these quotes really say well what boys mean to me. No puppy tails or trains.

Supplies- I'll get back to ya on that. I added white ribbon and stickers.

A book for my Man.

I recently made this book for my hubby whilst on a scrap retreat. It was easy to find pictures of us and write reasons I love him. I didn't realize how much he would cherish it so encourage all to do something for your man.
Just be warned, it may sit on your bedside table from then on so use colors that match ;) luckily I did.

supplies- a pre cut hard board book, basic black, white and green card stock and all embellishments were silver or black. Being small you can use allot of scraps and don't be afraid to use your own hand writing, it is more personal.

Coming out of the closet.

I have a confession.
Saturday I picked up a couple of storage cubes form a fellow scrapper, (lottstoscrapabout.blogspot.com, she sells cute kits for a good price) her cute husband chucked my hubby a knowing smile and added "you know my pain then" from one scrap husband to another. I promptly defended myself, as anyone who has scrapped with me knows, I'm tidy, in my own space and only have the supplies I need.
Well I got home and proceeded to empty my cupboards to do a little reorganizing for my new cubes and wouldn't you know......

I have a ton of stuff!!
So I apologize and confess I have things unused and will do better at not buying ;)
Also Asha has inherited some cute stuff which she is busy putting together, I would add, NOT TIDYly IN HER SPACE.

For the record, everything of mine has a home and is in it!

Everything looks better with a little sparkle!

Those were actual words spoken by my little girl while in London at an Asian wedding. I had to get as much color and bling on these pages as possible whilst still maintaining my clean, simple style.
Supplies- allot of ribbon and scenic route product. The Mendhi layout was from a swap and the colors matched great, wish you could see the glitter and sparkles.

It's what I do

Ever since I was little I have liked to cut and paste. I'm not talking about copying parts of documents from one place to another, I'm talking about glue and stick, scissors and rulers.
So I decided to post some of my stuff on a blog.
In no apparent order.
Enjoy, comment, share yours if you like.

Asha's bunny was "born" on her first birthday, so every year on their birthdays, we go to builabear to get bunny something.
(supplies scenic route )

I was fascinated by the helicopters using our pond for water to put out a wild fire.
(supplies HOT is painted chipboard and fire is cricut, opposites attract font)

Guy falks night, Nov 5th. A tradition of bonfires, fireworks and outdoor fun.
(supplies I used bazzil bling to create a monochromatic union jack flag)
